Last month we met with 10 CEOs at a Vistage meeting to discuss how they using iPads in their business. A key problem they all agreed on was accessing their corporate file servers from the iPad, so they can browse and update files.
Friday 21st September 2012, I attended the Liverpool NHS Hack Day to meet our friends at Integrella. We were presenting our progress from the last Hack Day. Integrella have kick-started a cloud-based project to help NHS staff overcome some thorny communications problems, and were looking for a mobile partner to take it to the pockets of clinicians.
I’ve not taken a laptop to a sales meeting in over 2 years. Nope, these days the iPad seems to have everything I need. The key selling point is convenience - it’s easy to carry, has a long battery life, and is instant to launch. It also has a great selection of apps for note taking and presentations.
